My husband and I go to breakfast here at least a couple of times every week. The staff is very friendly and make us feel like part of their family . They have a great breakfast. We always enjoy getting out from our business, also a restaurant of sorts . We have a small bar and Grill. So we do judge other Resturant’s. We check not only the quality of the food and service, but also the cleanliness of the establishment . I give Steve 5stars !

Breakfast was really good. Corn beef hash made fresh.

Food was good, with some specials you wouldn't expect to find. Only reason it's not 5 stars is for those who expect impeccable service. If you need to be doted on, this is not the place for you. My family of 4 liked it.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Everything we ordered was excellent but Steve himself came to our table to ask if we liked lamb and, when we said sure, cake back with a bowl of what might be the best stew I have had in my life, lamb or otherwise. Amazing.

This is a very nice, off the beaten track, sit down restaurant that all of the locals know about. The food is surprisingly good and staff is nice.

I had high hopes of some real, not off the Sysco truck food. I ordered a French dip sandwich and was severly disappointed. That being said the custome service and atmosphere are amazing! My husband loves their burgers. I would strongly recommend trying it for yourself if for no other reason than the amazing ppl that work there.

Steven Sportsman's Cafe was okay good food if you're out on the 49 good place to stop

I love Steve's Sportsman Cafe. I have been a customer for a few years now. I have family in Mariposa so I spend a lot of time in the area. I have eating breakfast, lunch and dinner for a few years and never had a bad meal. The make a killer breakfast. And the prime rib on the weekend is definitely worth a try.

love this restaurant, not great for sensitive children but for daddys boys, who love hunting, its perfect! the french toast is to die for, and the breakfast burritos are outrageous, (my favorite thing on the menu). I'm about to go get one now! Cant love em enough!

Just moved to the area dropt into this lil'home town gem its a must try service was fast curtious and personable even tho they where busy i have worked in the industry several years an was quite impressed thank ya'll found our new faverite spot to eat

The food was super good. The hospitality was great. We will definitely eat here again. We live in Turlock and just happen to drop by. So glad we did. This is my new favorite place to eat!

Very friendly and good food

Omg fabulous! Prime rib is superb, and the smoked chicken breast stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped with bacon is amazing. Spendy but total quality...top of the line.

I live close and have eaten there many times. For breakfast I recommend a breakfast burrito. For dinner I recommend a french dip sandwich. They haven't always been great, but the last year they have.

Great food, cool country cafe

This place was awesome! Stopped there on my way back to Los Angeles after a very bad weekend in Yosemite and this was the best party if the whole trip. Service was quick, friendly and accommodative. The food was spectacular. Get the Oakie Benedict! It was the best thing I've treated in quite some time. Prices were great, as well. I'll definitely be back!
